If you're anything like me, there are usually not enough hours in the day. I am busy being a mom, a wife, a friend, a home-owner, a writer, and a full-time employee... and at some point I also try to sleep and eat and take a shower... does any of this sound familiar? :)
That's why it's important that we busy mamas take a little time every day and do something we love. For me, it's the act of creating. Crafting, building, writing, photography... bringing something to life that makes someone smile. It's OK if that someone is just me - but I share what I'm working on with you, in the hopes that some things here make you smile, too
My goal here at Happy Hour is to present do-it-yourself projects that you can actually fit into your day. Things you find here will be one-hour-or less projects, or broken down into hour-long (give or take) segments so that you can enjoy some craft-therapy during naptime, or after little ones are in bed, or around whatever keeps you busy from sunrise to sunset. Recipes here are easy, because while I love looking like a rockstar in the kitchen, I really don't enjoy getting stuck in the kitchen. ;) There's some sewing, some jewelry, baby projects and kid ideas, and just for fun be on the lookout for giveaways and special guests!
